本日6月11日は、国連で採択された「国際遊びの日」。

子どもに「休息・余暇」「遊び」「文化・芸術への参加」を保障する『子どもの権利条約第31条』を尊重し、
普段よりも31分長く遊ぼう！
31分早く仕事を終えて帰ろう！
という声かけが行われています。

先日、経堂駅前の道路で開催されたみちあそびでは、遊びの重要性の普及啓発も行われました。
子どもから大人まで、遊びを通して交流し、子どもの成長に必要な遊びへの理解促進が進むよう願っています。

Today, June 11, is “International Day of Play,” as adopted by the United Nations.

In recognition of Article 31 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which guarantees children the right to “rest and leisure,” “play,” and “participation in cultural and artistic life,”people in Japan are being encouraged to:
Play for 31 minutes longer than usual!
Finish work 31 minutes early and head home!

Recently, at a “Street Play” event held on the road in front of Kyodo Station, efforts were made to raise awareness about the importance of play.

We hope that people of all ages—from children to adults—will interact through play, thereby promoting a better understanding of the role play plays in children’s development.
